So here we are....week seven of marathon training. This week I was down in the Keys for vacation. It was hard balancing being in vacation and training mode at the same time. I was loving my down time with a drink in my hand, but I was also excited about running in a new place. I managed to get two back to back runs in during my vacation. Let's rewind and see how things went this week....
Monday: First day of vacation & I was in relaxation mode
Tuesday: 4 mile run with my mom
Wednesday: 4 mile tempo run
Thursday: Back to vacation mode
Friday: Last day of being in vacation mode
Saturday: 2 mile run
Sunday: 7 mile run
I was glad to add some back to back runs this week in preparation for the Dumbo Challenge. It's going to be here before I know it. I wish I could have added some cross training this week, but I can redeem myself now that I'm back home.
