It feels like forever since I wrote a Weekly Workout Rewind post! Being sick kept me from hitting the pavement and there really wasn't much to talk about. But that's all behind me now. I finished all my meds on Monday and I've felt great this week. It's good to be back at it!
My focus this week was getting back on track. I was a bit nervous since I took a whole week off from running. But with my new goal of Space Coast in mind, I really needed to be focused with my training. I wanted to start getting in three short runs a week (instead of two) and my long run. I was able to achieve my goal this week and it felt great. Let's rewind and see how thing went....
Monday: Rest (my last day of meds)
Tuesday: 3 easy miles (it felt so good to be running again)
Wednesday: 4 miles
Friday: 5 miles
Sunday: 10 miles
Also, I decided to run a half marathon next Sunday. I'm super excited about this because my friend, Kim, will be running it and it's her first half marathon. I can't wait to run with her and be there as she crosses that finish line.
