Weekly Workout Rewind: Week of October 21st

What a crazy week this has been! The week started off on Monday with my little guy spraining his finger and ending up at the doctors. Then his birthday was during the week, with his party on Saturday afternoon. It seemed like we had something going on every single day. 

I didn't get in as many runs as I would like. But some runs are better than none, right?? The good news is I did run a new race and I am super excited about that. The race recap will come very soon. Let's rewind and see how things went...

Monday: Rest
Tuesday: 4 mile speed workout
Wednesday-Saturday: Rest
Sunday: 13.1 miles

I loved ending the week with a bang at our local Halloween Half Marathon. I can't wait to write the recap because this race was very special. I ran this race because it was my friend's first half marathon and I wanted to be there to help get her to the finish. And she did! What a great week!

  1. I ran a local 5K on Saturday; it was supposed to be my rest day so I took it easy but it was for the girls' schools so I couldn't resist! Glad you have fun at the Halloween Half! I wish we had something like that locally.
