Weekly Workout Rewind: Week of October 28th

Happy Sunday everyone! Not only am I having a hard time accepting that November is here, but I can't believe the week is already over. Time is flying! 

The week started off great and ended a little crazy. I did back to back runs on Tuesday and Wednesday. I really wanted to get another run in before Sunday, but with Halloween on Thursday and then my car dying on Friday, it was a no go. Let's rewind and see how things went.

Monday: Rest
Tuesday: 4 miles
Wednesday: 6 miles
Thursday: Rest
Friday: Rest
Saturday: Rest
Sunday: 16 Miles
It felt so good to hit a long distance again. The Space Coast Marathon is only four weeks away....can you believe it!?!? Next week's long run is 20 miles and then the taper begins. I'm feeling healthy and strong. Fingers crossed things stay that way. 

I spent most of the afternoon watching the live feed on the ING NYC Marathon. Talk about inspiration. There is something special about watching others crossing the finish line of a marathon. And yes, I got choked up a few times.

  1. Congrats on a good week of workouts, despite the car troubles and Halloween! Glad to hear you are feeling healthy and strong! I watched some of the NYC Marathon too. Very inspirational!
