Res-o-lu-tion: Noun

Happy New Year everyone! With the beginning of a new year, most people are thinking about resolutions.

Res-o-lu-tion.
Noun.
A firm decision to do or not to do something.

So what resolutions am I making this year? I decided that keeping things short and sweet will be my success! Asking myself these simple questions will keep me on track each day.
If each day allows me to do something different, something better, than I will be happy.
Do I have any specific goals for the new year? Sure. Some I'm willing to share right now and some I want to keep close to my heart for awhile.

  • For running, I want to hit 1,000 miles this year. How did I get that number? My goal is to run at least 20 miles a week. If I hit the minimum each week, I'll end 2014 with 1,040 miles. That would be amazing!
  • For me professionally, I'm ready to take risks. I'm ready for change.
  • For my body, it's my vehicle to the future. From eating better and becoming stronger, I'm focused on a new me!
What are your resolutions or goals for 2014? What are you going to do differently to get there?

  2. Great goals! 1000 miles was my goal for 2013, and I'm repeating it for 2014. 20 miles per week is doable, but can also be a challenge!

    1. Thanks Lora! I didn't start tracking my mileage until April of this year, so I felt cheated..LOL I use Daily Mile and that's a great way to keep track. Good luck!

  6. Great realistic goals. No resolutions for me this year. I decided to go with a one word theme - Daring. I have so many little goals I want to tackle in 2014 and they all require me to be a tad bit daring. Best of luck to you and your goals. Can't wait to follow your progress to 1000 miles!
