runDisney Wine and Dine Health and Fitness Expo

The runDisney Wine and Dine Half Marathon weekend has come and gone. Insert sad face. It's crazy how you wait months for the weekend to come and then in a blink of an eye, it's all over. The race itself was quite an adventure and I'll be recapping both the 5K and half, but to start off, here are my thoughts on the expo.
The Health and Fitness Expo was held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. The hubby and I arrived around 2pm on Friday and the timing was perfect. I had been stalking everyone's expo posts on social media from earlier in the morning and it was super packed. When we got there, we didn't have any problems with crowds. Both packet pick up and then the shirt pick and merchandise/vendors are located in different buildings. This seems like a pain to some, but it really is so efficient because it helps with crowd control.
Our first stop was to the HP Field House where packet pick up was held. As you can see, we had no problems with waiting in lines. You had to stop at one area for the Jingle Jungle 5K and then another for the Wine and Dine Half Marathon. There was also a little runDisney backdrop photo area for taking pictures and there was some official race merchandise for sale. Once we picked up our packets, we headed over to the Jostens Center to get our race shirts and check out the merchandise and different vendors.
Now the crowds were definitely heaver in here, but they weren't out of control. We walked right up to get our shirts and we were also able to get in and out of the official race merchandise area without a problem.
We walked around to the different vendors. Our first stop was to the runDisney booth. I was dying to see the new Star Wars bling! Aren't the new medals awesome?!?
We stopped at a few more booths and then we took off. I can honestly say this was the first expo where I didn't buy a single thing. I don't know how or why it happened that way, but it did.

On our way out, I stopped for pics with the race weekend photo ops that are at the entrance to Wide World of Sports. I love that runDisney puts these up. It's all about the extras and these fit the bill for me!
If you were at the runDisney Wine and Dine Health and Fitness Expo, what did you think? Did you do any shopping? Share your experience!
