Goofy Challenge or Bust!

Race weekend is here! I've been registered for the runDisney Goofy Challenge since April and we're less than 24 hours to the start of the first leg of Goofy. I can't even believe it. I have so many emotions. One minute I'm super stoked about the race. I'm all like "Bring it!", "It's Game Time!" And the next minute I'm like "Deep breath!", "I don't want to get swept!" "I don't think I can do this!" I mean seriously WHO AM I? I blame it on the taper. 
Tapering for this race has been rough. This taper crazies checklist pretty much sums up how I've been feeling lately. I've been experiencing some pain in my left knee and leg. I even put off my last little long run because I didn't want to aggravate my leg. But the crazy thing is.....I can't tell if it's real or if it's all in my head?!?  Guess I'll find out starting tomorrow. And I want to eat everything in sight. Not helpful when I'm trying to lose weight. *Sigh* I also keep getting this sore throat, runny nose thing. So what am I doing about it? Popping Vitamin C like it's my J-O-B. And the mood swings. Oy vey! Let's not go there. So the taper crazies are real. I'm ready to get the party started. 

My goal for this weekend is to make magical memories, have fun, and finish. I'm not here to set a PR (although my first attempt at Goofy is a PR itself, right?) or go all out and crush goals. I'm here to do something that I set my mind to. Something that I NEVER thought I could do, or would do in a million years. So here goes nothing.
