It's been awhile since I've posted on the blog about where I'm at on my weight loss journey with Weight Watchers. If you follow along with my journey on Instagram or Facebook, you get my weekly updates. But for some reason, I just don't post as often on the blog.
Saturday's weigh in wrapped up week seventeen. A little over four months and drum roll please......I have lost thirty pounds! Can I get a woot woot??
I was so excited to finally hit the 30 pound mark. My weigh in the week before wasn't that good and I felt a little defeated going into this week. It was bad timing and I had a dinner event the night before my weigh in, but I'm learning that's part of the journey. Not every week will be perfect and the way I want it to be. I do find that when I have an off week, it motivates me to rock it the next week just like I did here.
I'm getting so close to my goal weight. This is the number I thought wasn't even attainable when I started this journey and now I know it's so within reach. Starting this coming week, I'm going to really start focusing on weight training and it will be interesting to see how that affects the scale. I'm going to give myself about 4-6 more weeks because we've got a trip coming up and I want to keep losing and firming it all up. Then after that, I'll go into maintenance mode.
